@ArguementivePrick well we can't control everything in life. Some are obviously luckier than others, but the things we do have control over (our attitude, perception) we can change and make for the better. It's not saying that it will change everything, but positivity does open new doors and make those dark moments in life a lot lighter.

But remember to stay away from negative people. They are easy to find and easy to get sucked into (the critical, degrading kinds of mindsets that claim to be oh-so-intelligent), but don't buy into their crap. You don't want to slump yourself down to their misery.

Positivity and activism can definitely change your life and your whole perception. I've tried it when I went to college (the chance to start fresh) and felt like a completely different person for a while, and I noticed the difference in people's response to me as well simply by having positive energy. The tone of a room completely changes when you actively are friendly and positive, and you have almost an untouchable guardian with you that wades off negative people and brings only the good ones.
